The Ajax FC Naperville System: Built in 30 Years of Player Development
Ajax FC Naperville was founded in 1996 by world-renowned professional soccer player Dragan Pavlovic — built from day one around one idea: genuine player development. Not platform promises. Not participation trophies. Real coaching that makes players better on and off the field.
Our club provides players a foundation to grow within the game. We welcome players at any stage of their soccer journey by offering pre-travel programs, competitive club teams and college placement initiatives. By increasing confidence on the ball, soccer IQ and a passion for the sport, our goal is for each player to realize their biggest dreams.

Who are these tryouts for?
These supplemental tryouts are open to boys and girls ages U7–U18 in the Naperville area. Whether your child is currently at another club or has never played competitive soccer, we welcome them to come out and be evaluated.
Is there a cost to try out?
The tryout session is completely free. No cost, no commitment required to attend. If our coaches feel your child is a great fit, we'll extend an invite to join the team.
How will I know which session to attend?
After you submit your info, you'll be directed to a booking page showing available sessions for your child's age group and gender. Pick the day and time that works, and you'll receive a confirmation with the exact field location.
What should my child bring?
Cleats, shin guards, ball, water bottle, and athletic clothing. We'll send a full reminder before the session.
My child is already at another club — can they still try out?
Absolutely. Many of our players come from other clubs. The tryout is no-commitment — just an opportunity to see if Ajax FC is the right fit for your child's development.
How competitive is Ajax FC?
Ajax FC competes at the highest levels of the newly formed N1 league. N1 provides the highest level of team-vs team league competition in the country.
It is a pathway for top-performing teams to enter the ECNL postseason pathway as well as a pathway for top-performing clubs to be considered for acceptance into the ECNL league platform. Our boys and girls teams also compete in NISL, YSSL, MWC and varies Cups! We have something competitive for everyone!
